Many factors are taken into consideration in choosing the organizations and programs that will receive funding.  These include but are not limited to the following:

  • The proposed program is compatible with the focus of the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, as well as the Applicant Organization's mission.
  • If the proposal is for a specific project, it must effectively address the identified problem or it's causes and can produce a significant solution.
  • The Organization has the capacity to sustain the program beyond the funding period.
  • Objectives are clear, compelling, measurable and achievable within the funding period.
  • There is a realistic budget to support the program proposed.
