The community is what has shaped In-N-Out Burger since 1948. As part of our mission statement, we are committed to assist all communities in our marketplace to become stronger, safer and better places to live. We work with a variety of organizations seeking support with their fundraising efforts; including non-profits, schools, youth sports, city events and much more. We ask that these groups submit their donation requests 45 days in advance.

In addition, we will make one donation every 12 months per organization. Our assistance is typically with in-kind donations such as merchandise and certificates.

As you might imagine, we receive numerous requests on a daily basis and are unable to accommodate every worthy organization seeking our assistance. There are two major factors that determine whether your organization will be considered for a donation: 1) who does the event benefit and 2) what type of organization is making the request.

In-N-Out Burger provides schools with awards designed to help recognize your deserving students. These awards are available to schools with Kindergarten through 8^th grades. Each award (Value Guest Card) is for a free hamburger or cheeseburger to reward the selected child for their efforts.

The following are the Youth Recognition Program guidelines to help us continue to serve your organization better.

The Cookout Fundraiser began in 1990 as a fundraiser for local schools. In-N-Out Burger provides the truck, labor, food and all the promotional materials at no cost to the school. You simply pre-sell a minimum of 200 tickets for a suggested price of $5. The Cookout Truck will come to your campus, complete with fresh quality burgers, chips and soft drinks.

Of the money raised, 75% goes to your school (for projects, equipment, uniforms, and activities), and 25% will be donated to the In-N-Out Burger Foundation to help abused children in local communities.

PARTICIPATING AREAS:

What In-N-Out Will Do:

1. Help your school schedule the event.
2. Provide your school with promotional posters, tickets, and guidelines four weeks prior to the event.
3. Ensure that the Cookout Truck arrives at your specified school location approximately 30-60 minutes prior to the event.
4. Serve burgers, chips, and drinks during your event. (Note: The time required to serve 300 hamburgers or cheeseburgers is approximately one hour. Your school may want to consider a modified lunch schedule on the day of your cookout event.)
   

HOW TO APPLY

1. Submit your Cookout Fundraiser Application between January 1st and June 15th to be entered into a random drawing for the upcoming school year.
2. Applicants will be notified, via email, of the drawing results between July and August.
3. Approved fundraisers are subject to Principal’s signature on Agreement Form, and contact’s signature on Confirmation Form.
